bust open the musty doors
break open the shutters
watch the paint crack and fall gently away
as the sun shines through
the window
and makes all things look
brighter
turn the bed mattress
fluff the pillows
chase the dust bunnies
out the door
shake out the curtains
shake out the rugs
put them back down
to soften the floor
under your feet
smell the fresh air
sweet
